The 335 is a generous Crockett & Jones last with a round toe and good volume over the forefoot. It provides more space than many of the narrower, dressier lasts and is therefore often well-suited for slightly wider feet or those who prefer a less snug fit. Most people choose their usual Crockett & Jones size.

There are certain shoes you always return to – and Chelsea 5 is one such model.
Chelsea 5 is a robust yet elegant Chelsea boot for men, featured here in black waxed calf leather and with a durable Dainite rubber sole. A highly versatile everyday boot that feels just as natural with jeans and knitwear as it does with wool trousers and a blazer.
The classic Chelsea boot silhouette has been given a slightly sturdier and more relaxed expression through its rounded toe shape, generous fit, and hard-wearing Dainite sole. The result is a black men's boot that feels well-dressed without becoming too formal, and robust without appearing clunky.
The upper is made from black waxed calf leather. The waxed surface gives the leather a rich character and a more vibrant expression than traditional, polished calf leather. The material is soft-tanned for great comfort and is particularly well-suited for shoes and boots with a smart casual feel.
The elastic side panels make the Chelsea 5 easy to pull on and off, while the clean, laceless design makes the model exceptionally easy to combine. Wear it with dark jeans and a chunky knit sweater on casual days, or with flannel trousers and a wool coat when you want a more dressed-up look.
Underfoot is a classic Dainite rubber sole, made in England. The sole provides good grip and durability while maintaining a significantly trimmer appearance than many heavier winter soles.
Chelsea 5 is built on last 335 in a standard E-width. The last features a wide, rounded toe and extra height in the front, providing plenty of room and a distinct, characterful silhouette.
Just like Crockett & Jones' other Goodyear-welted shoes and boots, this model is manufactured in Northampton, England. The construction provides stability, long durability, and the possibility of resoling the shoes once the soles eventually wear out.
