Bowhill & Elliott Wine Leather Grecian Slippers are classic house slippers with an elegant, traditional look and an exceptionally soft construction.

The upper is hand-cut from a combination of fine deerskin and calfskin in a deep burgundy shade. The leather is soft and supple, giving the model a more dressed-up feel than a traditional slipper, while retaining the comfort expected from a truly well-made indoor shoe.

The Grecian model features a characteristic square toe and a low-cut opening over the instep. This combination provides ample space at the front and makes the model particularly suitable for those with a high instep.

Inside, the model is equipped with a soft, quilted satin lining and a naturally cushioning cork insole. The cork contributes to a comfortable feel underfoot and gradually molds to the wearer's foot over time. The soft suede sole makes the shoe light, quiet, and flexible – perfect for indoor use.

Each pair is manufactured in Bowhill & Elliott's workshop in Norwich using the traditional hand-turned construction. The shoe is first sewn together inside out and then carefully turned by hand, a centuries-old method that results in a soft and flexible construction with discreet seams.
