What is Odd Stock?
  • Odd Stock consists of models that are being discontinued, the last pair from an MTO (Made to Order) collection, or sample models for an upcoming MTO.

  • All shoes in Odd Stock are sold at a reduced price and are not restocked once they are out of stock. This means each pair is uniquely available – once a size is gone, it won't return.

  • The shoes may have been tried on and show slight variations in color or minor cosmetic imperfections, but still offer the same high quality, craftsmanship, and timeless design.

In short: you snooze, you lose.

Product Description

Crockett & Jones Ashdown – Elegant Men's Derby Shoe in Country Calf

The Ashdown is a stylish and versatile men's derby shoe from Crockett & Jones , crafted from high-quality dark brown country calf leather . With its simple front and classic silhouette, this model is a perfect choice for those seeking a shoe suitable for both everyday wear and more formal occasions.

The shoe is built on the elegant last 341 , with a slightly longer toe area that gives a slimmer and more sophisticated impression. Under the sole is a durable Dainite rubber sole that provides extra durability and grip, while a storm welt protects against moisture and makes the shoe more water-resistant – perfect for the Nordic climate.

Like all Crockett & Jones men's shoes, the Ashdown is crafted from premium leather sourced from Europe's leading tanneries. Each pair takes up to eight weeks to complete , in a traditional process with over 200 steps that ensure first-class quality, comfort and longevity.

Ashdown combines classic British shoemaking craftsmanship with modern functionality – a pair of men's derby shoes that will never go out of style.
